Meghalaya Governor V Shanmuganathan stepped down after close to 90 staff members at the Governor house wrote a letter to PM Narendra Modi bringing serious allegations including sexual misconduct. The centre has accepted his resignation. The staff say they don't want to come on camera but off record told us they believe it is a moral victory. But women rights group who took to the streets of Shillong asking for his removal say a resignation is not enough.
