The people's power will push them away, said former Lankan cricketer Sanath Jayasuriya on the day the Presidential palace was overrun by protesters. "They have had enough. These people were in queues for days and days. People can't take it anymore. It's obvious. We were patiently waiting for this long. Even after appointing the new prime minister the people were waiting something good will happen, but it did not happen," said Mr Jayasuriya.
