MET warning not good enough, says Disaster Management Chief

M Shashidar Reddy, Vice Chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority, says that the MET department warning was not specific enough. He has has given them 10 days to report to him on steps to be taken to prevent this in the future and has asked the department to get Doppler radars to monitor the weather. Environmentalists clashed on the show on the feasibility of the Eco-Zones while the Congress spoke of a balance between development and the environment.
