9 BJP-Ruled States Announce Additional Cuts In Fuel Rates And Other Top Stories
Nine BJP-ruled states - Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Karnataka, Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand - have announced additional cuts in prices of petrol and diesel, adding to the Diwali cheer after the Centre reduced excise duty on petrol by 5 rupees and on diesel by 10 rupees. Sources say the Centre is set to lose 1.4 lakh crores a year after forgoing this revenue
