'Award Of Contract Was Incorrect Procedure': Ex Top Cop
The municipal body chief of Gujarat's Morbi city where a cable bridge snapped on Sunday, killing 135, was questioned by the police for four hours today. “In my opinion, the award of contract (to Oreva) was definitely an incorrect procedure in the sense that it smells of inefficiency and corruption,” said MM Mehta, former police commissioner, Ahmedabad.
