According to Vimlendu Jha, Environmentalist, carbon footprints of people are high, and it is the collective failure of the humanity in terms of protecting the environment because of which natural disasters have become frequent. Highlighting the findings of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)'s report on climate change, Mr Jha asserted that it is important to focus more on environment than on building infrastructure.
