The World Health Organisation (WHO) report on the effects of air pollution among children, states that nearly 93 per cent of the world's children under the age of 15 years, breathe poisonous air every day. There have been studies showing a correlation between the air pollutants and the increased risk of preterm birth and neonatal mortality. Dr. Anupam Sibal, Senior Paediatrician and a Group Medical Director at Apollo Hospitals, is here to answer all the queries the parents have about the hazardous air quality levels effects on their children, the doubts of expectant and new mothers.
