Leading doctors' body FAIMA (The Federation of All India Medical Association) has written to President Droupadi Murmu, raising concerns over repeated irregularities in the NEET examination process. The organisation has called for accountability from the National Testing Agency (NTA), demanded structural reforms to the medical entrance examination system, and sought a comprehensive overhaul of the agency. It has also urged regular public health bulletins on activist Sonam Wangchuk, who remains on an indefinite hunger strike.
