NDTV Impact: Bombay High Court Cancels Ramesh Mhatre's Bail, Orders Him to Surrender
NDTV Impact: In a significant development, the Bombay High Court, in a special Saturday sitting, took suo motu cognisance of the bail granted to Shiv Sena corporator Ramesh Mhatre and the other accused in the alleged assault on three doctors at a civic hospital in Kalyan, Maharashtra.
The High Court has cancelled the bail granted to Mhatre and directed him to surrender by 5 PM. The court also made strong observations while examining the circumstances under which bail had been granted.
