Actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood has stepped in to help save Abhijot, a child from Kapurthala district, Punjab, in urgent need of treatment. Speaking to NDTV, Sood assured that medical reports will be taken to Hyderabad and assistance will reach the family as soon as possible. His sister Malvika Sood has been on ground in flood-hit Punjab, coordinating relief efforts and distributing essentials. Sonu Sood emphasised the importance of ensuring victims receive medicines and support before winter. Punjab, he said, is resilient and will bounce back, but collective efforts are needed.
