NDMC's new waste disposal initiative
The government has decided to take the initiative of waste disposal in the capital. As part of the move, the New Delhi Municipal Corporation will now collect garbage from close to 2000 households across the city.The NDMC will carry out this programme with the help of an NGO Chintan. The sanitation workers will collect garbage in these bins, one of which is marked 'Recyclable' and the other is marked 'Bio Degradable'. The waste will then be taken to the garbage house in a segregated manner.
