Nana Patekar Death: Goa Police Register Unnatural Death Case

Panaji Police have registered an unnatural death case under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita following the death of veteran actor Vishwanath (Nana) Gajanan Patekar on Thursday. According to police records, the 75-year-old actor was brought dead to the casualty ward of Manipal Hospital in Bambolim from his residence at Ocean Park, Dona Paula. Further inquiry is underway under the supervision of PSI Nitin Naik. Section 194 of the BNSS provides for police inquiries into deaths occurring under suspicious, accidental or other unnatural circumstances.
