After he was stabbed by four men in London, Lt Gen KS Brar, who led Operation Blue Star against Sikh militants in 1984, told NDTV that he was extremely sad and distraught that anger of some radical Sikhs still continues unabated. "I as a Sikh had to carry out my duty... we didn't hurt Sikh sentiments to the best of my knowledge," he said. (Read entire transcript here)
