Millions Gather for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's Funeral in Tehran
Iran has begun a massive national mourning ceremony for Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, with millions of mourners gathering in Tehran to pay their final respects.
The funeral procession, expected to draw more than 20 million people across Iran and Iraq, began at Tehran's Imam Khomeini Mosalla, where Ayatollah Khamenei's coffin has been placed for public viewing. The six-day funeral procession is scheduled to travel through Tehran, Qom, Mashhad, Najaf and Karbala.
