'Military Success, No Governance Plan': Ian Bremmer On Venezuela Fallout

In a conversation with NDTV Editor-in-Chief and CEO Rahul Kanwal, Eurasia Group Founder and President Ian Bremmer said the US operation that removed Nicolas Maduro from power was a military success but lacked a clear plan for governing Venezuela. Bremmer described the situation as "regime roulette," warning that while Maduro has been taken out, the power structure remains intact. He said the US is now using military dominance as leverage-pressuring Venezuela to cut ties with Russia, Iran, Cuba and Hezbollah, grant access to American corporations, curb drug trafficking, and potentially hold elections.
