Middle East War | Smoke Rises From Irbil Airport In Iraq's Kurdish Region After Explosions

Loud explosions were heard in Irbil in Iraq’s semi-autonomous Kurdish region as smoke rose from inside Irbil International Airport late Saturday night. Sirens sounded across the area while warplanes were heard overhead, with reports of drone and missile interceptions near the airport. Meanwhile in Tehran, pillars of flame were seen rising above an oil storage facility after new Israeli strikes shook neighborhoods in the Iranian capital. Israel’s military confirmed carrying out the strikes but did not immediately comment on the specific targets.
