Two-time lawmaker Heena Gavit, 31, was praised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for her debut speech in parliament. She belongs to the Scheduled Tribe and is doctor. She topped her MD examination as well. When this young doctor felt she couldn't follow parliament she studied LLB, just to be a better lawmaker, and is currently pursuing LLM. Interestingly, she is a 4th generation politician but contesting from BJP meant her father, a Nationalist Congress Party Cabinet minister, had to lose his position.
