The Environment Department in Tamil Nadu is reviving the use of yellow cloth bags popular in the state a few decades ago. Special vending machines to dispense these eco-friendly bags are being installed in a bid to check plastic pollution in the oceans. The latest installation is on the popular Elliot's Beach in Chennai. NDTV's Sam Daniel coordinated a conversation with the state's Environment and Climate Change Secretary Ms Supriya Sahu, who is known for her passion and proactive measures.
