Soon after winning her 2nd successive World Championship gold at IBA Women's World Boxing Championship 2023, India pugilist Nikhat Zareen on March 26 expressed her happiness and thanked people who helped her and prepared her for the Championship. She also dedicated the gold medal to her country India. "I am happy that I became World Champion for the 2nd time. I am grateful to all those who supported me. I want to thank every person out there who helped me and prepared me for the Championship. This medal is for my country India. This was a difficult competition but in the end, I won a gold medal," said Nikhat Zareen.
