As officials begin draping statues of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati and her party symbol - the elephant - in the state on orders from the Election Commission, former chief of the poll panel, TS Krishnamurthy, says that some might find the order "strange". He though added that the move was in keeping with the objective of ensuring a level-playing field in the upcoming assembly elections.
