Maharashtra Political Battle: Political Parties Face Rebellion In Ranks
The political parties in Maharashtra are facing a rebellion in their ranks after Eknath Shinde faction's Shiv Sena MLA Sarvankar refused to withdraw his nomination. Meanwhile, the BJP had assured Raj Thackeray that it would campaign for his son and has managed to placate veteran leader Gopal Shetty to withdraw his nomination as an independent from the Borivali seat. Rebel Congress leader Mukhtar Shaikh has withdrawn his nomination from the Kasba seat, giving relief to Maha Vikas Aghadi candidate, Ravindra Dhangekar.
