Lucknow Fire: 15 Dead; 4 Building Owners Arrested As Safety Violations Under Scanner
Fifteen people have died in a fire at a three-storey building in Lucknow's Aliganj that housed a gaming centre and pet store. Four joint owners of the property have been arrested as police investigate alleged safety lapses, including no emergency exits and a blocked route to the roof. NDTV has accessed a house-tax receipt showing the building was approved for residential use but was allegedly being used commercially.
