Soon after she was annoucned as the BJP's Chief Ministerial candidate for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, former IPS officer Kiran Bedi has said she is graretful to the BJP leadership for the trust that has been placed in her. Speaking to NDTV, Ms Bedi praised the strong organisation of her new party and hailed party president Amit Shah as a 'top strategist'. She said leadership is about dealing with dissent and that she looks forward to "astounding results" for the BJP, first in Delhi, then in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
