It is a major debate raging in Kerala, and now the rest of the country. What should be done with the treasure trove worth a staggering Rs 1 lakh crore that was found in the vaults of a prominent temple. While some eminent citizens have called for the money to be used for public welfare, Hindu organisations have strongly opposed that move, saying the money belongs to the temple and should stay there. We on Left Right and Centre discuss if there is a better way to use this massive wealth - which is worth more than the union education budget.
