After Kashmir witnessed a quiet Sunday, the streets continue to be deserted, markets closed, buses and autorickshaws remain off the road as a result of the two-day shutdown called by separatists in support of Article 35A that guarantees special privileges to the state. The Supreme Court will hear a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) challenging the validity of the Article 35-A today.
