Jobs data shows strength in US economy: StanChart

Strong US jobs data comes as a surprise and reflects the ongoing revival in the US economy, says Sarah Hewin of Standard Chartered Bank. She, however, feels that the drop in unemployment rate to 7.7 per cent should not raise fears about an early exit from the Fed's easy monetary policy stance. She also shares her view on the Chinese economy.
