A political row has erupted in Andhra Pradesh over a fatal hit-and-run case involving the son of a YSRCP leader. While YSRCP chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy argued that accidents should not automatically attract murder charges and accused the TDP government of targeting the accused, Andhra Pradesh minister Nara Lokesh said the 18-year-old is an adult who should have surrendered and questioned the role of the parents in the aftermath of the incident.
