Flash floods triggered by a cloudburst have wreaked havoc across parts of Jammu and Kashmir, leaving several areas still submerged. Though water levels in rivers and rivulets have begun to recede, many homes have been destroyed and residents continue to face severe hardships. Former J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is expected to visit the affected areas, even as authorities issue warnings and take precautionary measures.
