Italy: Indian Workers Trapped | Prosecutors Investigate Labour Bondage
Italian criminal prosecutors have launched a human trafficking investigation into the construction of the new $350 million U.S. Consulate compound in Milan. The investigation focuses on approximately seventy workers, primarily from India and Kenya, who were hired after working on previous U.S. government projects.
