Explosions were seen lighting up the skyline of Beirut on Saturday evening as Israeli strikes continued across the Lebanese capital. Thick smoke was visible rising over parts of the city following the blasts. The escalation comes amid the ongoing conflict between Hezbollah and Israel, which has significantly worsened the humanitarian crisis in Lebanon. According to the Lebanese Health Ministry, around 800 people have been killed and more than 850,000 displaced since the conflict intensified.
