Iran has launched a new wave of missile strikes under Operation “True Promise 4,” with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps firing advanced weapons including the Sejjil ballistic missile for the first time since the war with Israel and the United States began on February 28. The Sejjil-2, a two-stage solid-fuel medium-range ballistic missile, has an estimated range of around 2,000 kilometres and can carry a payload of roughly 700 kilograms. Known for its manoeuvring ability designed to evade air defence systems like Iron Dome, the missile marks a significant escalation as the conflict enters its third week.
