Iran has begun a five-day state funeral for former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, with his casket arriving in Tehran ahead of ceremonies scheduled from July 4 to July 9.
Thousands of mourners are expected to gather at the Imam Khamenei Grand Mosque, while several foreign dignitaries are reportedly set to attend the funeral. According to reports, Mojtaba Khamenei is not expected to attend, with security concerns cited as a key reason.
