International Quds Day: Thousands March Through Tehran For Palestine Amid War

Thousands of Iranians took to the streets of Tehran on Friday for the International Quds Day march. Quds Day - a march of solidarity with the Palestinian people - first took place in Iran in 1979, shortly after the Islamic Revolution, and is now celebrated in countries and communities around the world. This year’s celebrations come amid US and Israeli attacks on Iran - with strikes reported during today's march itself. Israel and the United States launched a joint military operation against Iran on February 28. Tehran responded with missile and drone strikes targeting Israeli territory and US interests across the region.
