India’s Big Nuclear Push: Atomic Energy Amendment Bill Opens Doors for Private Sector

India is set for a major energy reform as the Modi government is all set to bring the Atomic Energy Amendment Bill to Parliament named SHANTI on Monday. The move opens the previously closed nuclear sector to private players, enabling them to set up power plants and help India achieve its 100 GW clean energy target.
