India's Space Odyssey: Shubhanshu Shukla Set To Soar On Axiom-4 Mission

India is poised to make history once again in space exploration. Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla is set to become the first Indian astronaut to fly to the International Space Station on a private mission-Axiom Mission 4-aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. Scheduled for launch in early June, this mission is a major milestone in India's collaboration with NASA and Axiom Space, and a critical stepping stone for ISRO's ambitious Gaganyaan program. Speaking to NDTV's Science Editor Pallava Bagla, ISRO Chairman Dr. V. Narayanan said the mission will bring invaluable experience and global exposure to India's astronaut corps.
