Income Tax Raids Nashik Bullian Trader's Premises, Seizes Rs 26 Crore In Cash

In raids conducted by the Income Tax Department at the shops of bullion traders and developers' offices in Nashik for the past three days, around Rs 26 crores in cash and documents of unaccounted assets worth Rs 90 crores have been seized. Nearly 55 officials raided the premises of Surana Jewelers and the office of their real estate business. At the same time, an independent team also started inspection at the owner's luxurious bungalow in Raka Colony. His office at different places in the city, private lockers and lockers in banks were also checked. The homes of his family in Manmad and Nandgaon were also searched.
