Illicit Trade Funding Terror Outfits: World Customs Organization Chief To NDTV
World Customs Organization Secretary General Kunio Mikuriya spoke to NDTV on the challenge of curbing illicit trade and terror funding. "Fragile national borders are the breeding ground for funding terrorist organizations and non-state actors through illicit trade," said Mr Mikuriya, adding that enforcement officials across countries need to unite and trust each other more to share information on illicit trade.
