Hundreds of protesters gathered outside the US Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to oppose US President Donald Trump’s upcoming visit for the 2025 ASEAN Summit. The rally, led by Parti Islam Se-Malaysia (PAS), featured chants and placards denouncing Trump’s stance on Gaza, with signs reading “Trump must repent” and “Get out of Gaza.” PAS leaders attempted to deliver a memorandum to the embassy but said no officials came forward to receive it. Trump is expected to attend the ASEAN Summit from October 26–28, meet Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, and participate in a peace agreement signing between Cambodia and Thailand. The protest comes amid regional discussions on the recent Israel–Hamas peace deal, part of Trump’s 20-point Middle East plan.
