Hajj 2026: Muslim Pilgrims Ascend Mount Arafat During Spiritual Peak of Hajj

More than 1.5 million Muslim pilgrims gathered at Mount Arafat in Saudi Arabia for the spiritual peak of the annual Hajj pilgrimage. Pilgrims spent the day praying, seeking forgiveness, and climbing the Hill of Al Rahmah, where Prophet Mohammad delivered his Farewell Sermon.Amid the massive Hajj gathering in Saudi Arabia, the Government of India has made extensive arrangements for Indian pilgrims. In Makkah, multiple branch offices, clinics and medical units have been set up to assist devotees. On the crucial Day of Arafat, officials confirmed that all Indian pilgrims were shifted smoothly and comfortably to their camps in Arafat, marking a major success for this year’s Hajj operations.
