Ground Report: Peace Negotiations, Cops At Gurugram Mosque Attacked By Mob

A peace negotiation was held in the presence of sarpanch (village head) to ease off the tension in Gurugram village where a mosque was attacked by more than 200 people yesterday. The mob of over 200 people had ransacked the mosque, assaulting people who were praying inside and threatened to expel them from the village. While 10 people have been charged for rioting, criminal intimidation and causing hurt, the accused are yet to be arrested by the police.
