A shocking incident has emerged from Ghaziabad, where a man allegedly bled to death outside a Pink Police Booth after reportedly pleading for help for nearly 40 minutes.
According to eyewitnesses, the injured man, identified as Raj Kumar, arrived in an auto-rickshaw along with several others after an alleged dispute over the fare. Police and eyewitnesses claimed those involved appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.
Eyewitnesses allege that women police personnel at the Pink Police Booth asked the group to approach the nearby men's police station, as the Pink Booth was not equipped to handle the situation. As Raj Kumar continued to bleed heavily, he collapsed outside the booth.
A nearby shopkeeper called the police emergency helpline (112). Eyewitnesses say police personnel who arrived first tried to stop passing auto-rickshaws to rush him to a hospital, but none stopped. An ambulance eventually arrived around 25–30 minutes later and took him to the hospital, where he was declared dead after reportedly losing excessive blood.
The incident has sparked serious questions over the emergency response and the delay in providing medical assistance.
