Locals have united in support of firefighters Wednesday in the Bordeaux region of France as the country faces a historic wildfire. In Souge, civilians were seen hosing down the soil with water, putting out the last flames and keeping the ground wet to prevent new fires from starting. Locals also gathered by a lake in Lacanau to fill up tanks and carry the water to fill up fire trucks and put out hot ashes.
