India's cricket governing body BCCI reported a combined revenue of Rs 27,411 crore in the last five fiscal years. The Board of Control for Cricket in India earned Rs 7606 Cr in the year 2023 owing to its earnings from media rights, sponsorships, and revenue shares from International Cricket Council (ICC). But what does this mean for Indian cricket? Where does BCCI stand in among other sporting bodies in terms of revenue generation? Osama Shaab reports.
