10 Years of Rangashankara

The late and much-loved Kannada actor, Shankar Nag, would have been 60 years old this year. After his death in a car accident in 1990, his wife Arundhati, carried forward his dream of a theatre in Bengaluru. The product of that dream, Rangashankara, turned 10 years old and celebrated with annual theatre festival which ended on Shankar Nag's 60th birth anniversary. The space has kept its promise of a show a day with more than 4000 plays so far. NDTV reports on this popular space - the culmination of a dream.
