EXPLAINED: Assam Issues Guidelines For Picnics After 12 Killed In Road Accident

After yesterday's tragic road mishap in Assam's Dergaon, where a bus carrying 49 people from Golaghat district for a picnic and a visit to a temple in Tinsukia district had a head-on collision with a coal-laden truck in which 12 people including two children died and over 30 were injured, Assam police has issued a Standard Operating Procedure or SoP for picnic-goers in Assam. NDTV's Ratnadip Choudhury explains.
