Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal has thrown the 2G ball into the BJP's court by claiming that in 1999, the then BJP-led NDA government caused a massive loss of Rs. 1.43 lakh crore in revenue when it gave up auction and shifted to revenue share and increased the duration of licence to 20 years from 10 years.
