Indian nuclear reactors are quite safe: Dr Srikumar Banerjee

Dismissing concerns about the safety of Indian nuclear reactors, Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) chief Dr. Srikumar Banerjee told NDTV that Indian reactors can withstand earthquakes and tsunamis. He was earlier present at the Prime Minister's meeting which was convened to take stock of India’s preparedness to handle nuclear emergencies.
