In an exclusive interview to NDTV, the Deputy Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Mukesh Agnihotri said that over 3000 routes have been blocked due to the constant rain and the landslides. Talking about widespread destruction and losses to the hill state, he said Himachal needs to rethink its long-term infrastructural plan. The death toll in Himachal Pradesh stands close to 300 since the onset of the monsoon this year.
