The Supreme Court has said it cannot now monitor the riot case against him and it must be heard by a Gujarat trial court. However, the report of both the SIT and the amicus curiae must be given to the trial court, and Zakia Jaffri be allowed to see all statements if it gives Modi a clean chit. Is this relief for Narendra Modi? We discuss.
