As the controversy refuses to die down on the encounter in which 18 alleged 'Naxals' were killed in a Chhattisgarh village, the police has begun an exercise to unearth pending cases against them to prove they were Naxals. But as NDTV found, voices on the ground from the site of the killing have questioned this, saying many of those killed were children, or men with families.
